The first playlist of this year summarises my January pretty well. The xx released their new album which I’ve listened to on repeat in preparation of seeing them live in March. Ryan got me the tickets for my birthday and I’m so flippin’ excited, I tell you. I then saw the movie Sing Street for the first time this month and so of course, the soundtrack has made it into my list. It’s genuinely now one of my favourite films, If you love good music, good actors and beautiful writing, you’ll enjoy this one. I haven’t seen The Commitments, but a lot of people have compared it to that – a good thing apparently. And for the rest? It’s music I’ve just found myself listen to a lot ok? Not sure why, but I just have. Apart from that Bowie number… David Bowie Stamps were released yesterday so it seemed only fitting that I spent a day of listening to him, hence the added number to my January 2017 Playlist.
It’s short but sweet. Have any tunes I should add to it, let me know by commenting below. And don’t forget to follow our blog here so you never miss a post 🙂 -G,x

  1. I am a huge David Bowie fan, I recently saw Sing Street and now obsessed with the soundtrack. You might like the film 'God Help The Girl'- songs are by Belle and Sebastian, bit similar to Sing Street. instagram- redledlife
