Is Anybody Still Out There?

Well hasn't it been a while? I'm not going to humiliate myself by confirming exactly how long it's been but it's safe to say that I didn't exactly stick to my 2018 New Years resolution of uploading more to my blog than the previous years. Have no fear, I will save both of us from the empressement this year and shall not be promising a ton of blog content - in the hopes that I will instead do the opposite and create a ridiculous amount., good old mind trickery.

Grace Mandeville, labradoodle, Australian labradoodle, red shirt, double denim outfit, gucci belt, blogger,

It's safe to say that 2018 was one incredible year, I got engaged to my best friend, I was nominated for a Cosmopolitan Award, worked on a dream job with ASOS collaborating and consulting on a brand new fashion label: Collusion, I featured in Vogue and i-d multiple times, created a podcast with Ryan called Growing Old Together and watched ourΒ  beautiful Puppy Juno grow into a cat that barks - honestly, she's the laziest dog and I genuinely believe she feels the need to bark in order to prove the world that she is, in fact, a dog.

The best thing about the above paragraph is that it's only a snippet of 2018 and it already shows how important it was to my life and definitely towards my career. Talking about my career, the funny thing is that 2018 was the year my sister and I decided to leave our management, who would have known it would have lead to such exciting opportunities. I guess things really do all happen for a reason.

collusionFor 2019 I haven't come up with resolutions of such, instead, I've come up with a list of tasks. These include things such as planning our wedding, doing up the bathroom and going on holiday (thanks to my parents, they already planned this one last year). But I also have a separate checklist for things I'd like to achieve with my job, like writing for a publication or website, Presenting something serious and thought-provoking and collaborating or working with another fashion brand - dream big people.

So that's where my mind is at in January 2019, where's yours at? Do you believe in New Year's resolutions or do you think they're unhealthy?
